Jikiden Reiki utilizes original Reiki techniques created by the founder of Reiki Mikao Usui. His original Reiki method has been preserved without any Western influences by the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Kyoto, Japan.

Reiki With a Medical Doctor
Our founder, Dr. Danilychev, MD, is a practicing medical doctor with over twenty years of experience in Western medicine. Dr. Danilychev is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and also works at the frontier of medicine conducting clinical research trials.
As a doctor and a medical scientist, Dr. Danilychev couldn't simply "believe" that Reiki works. She approached Reiki using a scientific method. After 20 years of direct observational evidence, Dr. Danilychev came to an undeniable conclusion that Reiki (specifically Jikiden Reiki) delivers incredible results that go far beyond a placebo effect. Reiki MD: Meet Our Founder

At San Diego Reiki you will find the most authentic Reiki healing method with highly qualified Reiki practitioners who learned Reiki directly from Dr. Danilychev, MD. While there is no definitive scientific explanation for why or how Reiki works, Dr. Danilychev has directly observed how Reiki has helped her patients and clients significantly improve and often fully recover from numerous physical and mental/emotional symptoms and conditions.
Dr. Danilychev is a practicing board-certified Internist with over two decades of experience in the medical field. Dr. Danilychev has been studying the effects of Reiki for twenty years and discovered that the traditional Japanese Reiki method of Shin Shin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho in the Jikiden Reiki lineage has tremendous benefits for one's health and well-being.

We approach each session with compassion, respect, and a deep understanding of the mind-body-spirit connection. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that true healing occurs when we address the root cause of our physical, emotional, and spiritual imbalances.
At San Diego Reiki, we believe that everyone has the natural ability to heal themselves. Our goal is to help our clients tap into their inner wisdom and access their own innate healing powers.
We are also committed to maintaining Reiki in its original tradition, unmodified and passed on in its authentic version from teacher to student - just like Chiyoko Yamaguchi learned from Dr. Chujiro Hayashi, one of the main students of the founder of Reiki Mikao Usui.
All of our practitioners are certified by the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Japan, which is dedicated to preserving Reiki without changes or modifications, without any external influences - the original Reiki method created by Mikao Usui and passed down through generations.
