Join Practice Meetings:
Your Jikiden Reiki certification allows you to join our weekly practice and monthly review with Reiju. This is where you get to experience true apprenticeship-type learning with your teacher.
All students (even those who have been practicing Reiki for many years) are encouraged to attend. Practice meeting are open to all Jikiden Reiki practitioners who completed Shoden and/or Okuden or teacher training with any Jikiden Reiki instructor (not just at San Diego Reiki).

Miki-sensei teaches Reiki in English and Japanese. As far as native Japanese speakers, learning Reiki is often described as "coming home."
For English-speakers, learning a traditional Japanese healing art of Reiki is a real gift - not only the instructor is certified by the Jikiden Reiki Institute to pass down the traditional Japanese Reiki, but also, Miki-sensei can explain some of the cultural Japanese concepts that are a part of Reiki very clearly. This way there are no misunderstandings and nothing about the original Reiki mindset and techniques gets lost in translation.

Having a background in aerospace engineering has certainly made Peter a skeptic when he was first learning Reiki. However, after a few years of Reiki practice, the effectiveness of Reiki became so undeniable to Peter, that he decided to share this amazing mind-body healing art with others.
